Police are investigating the unexplained death of a woman in Mt Gambier.
Just before 8am on Saturday, officers and paramedics attended a property on Lake Terrace East, near the renowned Blue Lake.
There had been reports that a woman was unconscious at the property.
When officers arrived they found the 52-year-old but she could not be revived.
Mt Gambier police are speaking with a 53-year-old man who they say is assisting with inquiries.
