A man has been arrested after allegedly going on a window-smashing spree in the Adelaide CBD overnight.
Just before 3.30am this morning, police were called to Rundle St to reports a car window had been smashed.
Further inquiries revealed a window at fast-food restaurant Zambreros had also been smashed, along with two further vehicles parked on the street.
A hole was punched into the passenger side of a parked Jeep, leaving blood around the smashed glass. Jeep owner Bella Morton, 21, told 7NEWS she was devastated when she saw what happened to her “pride and joy”.
“I saw that the window was smashed and I broke down crying. That’s my prized possession, so it sucks,” she said.
To make her day even worse, Ms Morton was also issued with a $75 parking fine from the Adelaide City Council.
7NEWS reported the suspect used a street paver to cause the damage, before switching to his fist — leaving blood on one of the cars.
One of the victims Bali Singh discovered the crime after spending the night at his girlfriend’s home.
“In the future, I won’t park on the street anymore,” he said.

Patrols searched the area and located the suspect on Morphett St with a cut to his hand.
Upon searching the man, officers allegedly found a folding knife.
The 25-year-old man from Adelaide was arrested and is being interviewed by police. He is expected to be charged later today with four counts of property damage and carrying an offensive weapon.
It is believed the custom-made glass door at Zambreros is worth $10,000 and will take approximately a week to replace.
It follows a similar incident last week when several cars were damaged in an “act of mindless vandalism” in the CBD according to South Australian Police.
Patrols were called to a carpark near Festival Drive just after 1am on October 11, when a man discovered his car’s driver’s side mirror had been damaged, number plates removed and windscreen wipers ripped off.
While police were at the scene, several other owners returned to their cars to find them damaged with number plates removed or bent, windscreen wipers ripped off and one car marked with graffiti.
Another vehicle also had its roof and bonnet stomped on causing a number of dents.
The missing number plates were all found nearby and have been seized for forensic examination.
A total of seven cars were damaged and investigations are continuing.
The vandalism comes after a trio were arrested for a tyre slashing rampage in Murray Bridge in September.
At least 14 cars were damaged in that attack with three people expected to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court in November.
And in January a man charged with slashing the tyres of more than 90 cars in the Adelaide CBD.
Daniel Hambour admitted his guilt in February but a lawyer said his client would argue he was mentally incompetent at the time of the offending.
The cars targeted in the January incident were parked on Gouger St, Mill St, Coglin St, Pitt St, Waymouth St, Young St, Eliza St and Morphett St.
