Four people have been arrested after police seized 10kg of drugs, 13kg of dried cannabis and 22 cannabis plants in separate raids this week.
A Hillier man was charged after 10kg of drugs were allegedly found stashed in a sports bag in a car.
The man was stopped by detectives on the Sturt Highway at Daveyston, in the Barossa Valley, on Tuesday.
The following day, police searched his property and Toyota LandCruiser, where they say they found 9kg of suspected methamphetamine and 1kg of a substance believed to be heroin hidden.
A 49-year-old man from Hillier was arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug.
He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Also on Tuesday, police allegedly found 13kg of dried cannabis in individual bags at a Woodville Park home.
Police say half a kilogram of loose cannabis, as well as hydroponic equipment used for cultivation of the drug, were also located.
As a result, a 62-year-old woman from the home was arrested and charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug and possessing prescribed equipment.
She was refused police bail and appeared in court on Wednesday.
She will reappear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on October 21.
Following Tuesday’s discovery, a 49-year-old Prospect man was yesterday allegedly found with 10 cannabis plants growing hydroponically on Wednesday.
He was arrested and charged with cultivating cannabis, possessing prescribed equipment and diverting electricity.
He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on June 30.
A third cannabis bust, also on Wednesday, occurred at a home in Norwood.
Police say they discovered 12 plants growing hydroponically, leading to the arrest of a 44-year-old man.
He was charged with cultivating cannabis, possessing prescribed equipment and diverting electricity.
He also was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on June 30.
