A couple reported missing in the northern Flinders Ranges have been found.
Police said on Friday that Margaret Sparrow, 76, and Malcolm Sparrow, 75, last spoke with family members on Tuesday but had not been heard from since.
The couple told family they had stopped at Hawker in South Australia’s Flinders Ranges on the way to Arkaroola, about 620km north of Adelaide.
The alarm was raised after the couple did not arrive at the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary Lodge in the Gammon Ranges, where they had a booking.
Police said family members had concerns for the couple’s welfare.
Emergency services including SA Police and the State Emergency Service were expected to search an area around the town on the edge of the Flinders Ranges on Friday morning.
PolAir and trail bikes had been requested to assist in the search.
