A man has suffered serious injuries in an alleged stabbing in Adelaide city.
Police and paramedics were called to King William Rd in Adelaide just after 1.15pm Sunday with reports a man had been stabbed.
The victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries in the incident, and was taken to hospital.
Officers searched the area and, using the city’s CCTV network, tracked down the suspect who was arrested a short time later.
The Advertiser understands the incident unfolded near a public phone booth on the city street.
The 32-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged with aggravated assault causing serious harm.
He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
“Crime scene investigators will attend the scene and investigations are continuing.”
