Man seriously injured in hit-and-run crash at Wayville service station

A man has been seriously hurt after being pinned against a van by another car – before the driver fled the scene.

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a hit and run at Wayville.

A silver Holden Commodore allegedly crashed into a pedestrian at a Goodwood Road service station before 1.10pm on Wednesday, pinning him against a van.

The car then drove off and was found dumped nearby on Hampton Street North.

The pedestrian was left with serious leg injuries and taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

Police searched the area but were unable to find the driver of the Commodore.

Anyone who saw the hit and run, has information or can provide dashcam footage has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
