A man has been killed and another flown to hospital after a quad bike tragedy overnight.

A quad bike rider is dead and another lucky to be alive after an early morning crash on the Yorke Peninsula.
Just after 1.30am on Saturday morning, ambulance crews were dispatched to a rural property off the Spencer Highway, Port Broughton, after two quad bike riders crashed into a fence in a paddock and suffered serious injuries.
A 50-year-old Hackham man could not be revived and died at the scene.
The other rider, a 39-year-old Pennington man, was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
