Police are appealing for information after they found a naked, unconscious man lying in a vacant block in Adelaide’s inner-northern suburbs on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to the vacant block on Northcote St in Kilburn about 7.15am after reports of a man lying unconscious with significant injuries.
Upon arrival, police determined the man, aged in his 40s, had suffered serious head injuries and he was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
Security footage obtained by 7NEWS shows the man dragging himself along the ground before collapsing.
“I saw the man in the street lying down, naked, curled up,” a witness told 7NEWS.
“He was out cold when I saw him as the ambulance was in attendance,” another said.
Crime scene officers and Western District CIB are investigating and are asking anyone with information that may assist the investigation to come forward.
