A man has died and another has been arrested days after an alleged assault in Port Pirie West.

A man has died and another has been arrested after an alleged assault in Port Pirie West on the long weekend.
Emergency services were called to a home in Sayner Court, Port Pirie West about 10.15am on Saturday, March 8, after reports that a person was unconscious.
Police said a 40-year-old man, from Queenstown, was discovered in the house with critical injuries.
He was flown to hospital in Adelaide, where he has since died.
A 29-year-old man from Taperoo was arrested at the address and charged with committing assault that causes harm.
He will next appear in court on July 17, where it is expected that charges will be upgraded.
Police said it was believed the men were known to each other and investigations were continuing.
