A man has been assaulted and a suspect was seen in possession of a firearm during a disturbance at South Plympton on Saturday night.
A gang of people, including one with a gun, were on the run after a man was assaulted during a brawl
Police said an “altercation” erupted on Raglan Ave, near the intersection of Edgeworth St, at South Plympton, between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday.
Several people, including at least three men and one woman, assaulted the victim during the “disturbance”, police said.
At least one man was armed with a firearm.
No details were available about the victim, his injuries or if he needed hospital treatment.
Police appealed for anyone in the vicinity, or who may have dashcam footage, to contact Crimestoppers.
