A man has been arrested after a drug detection dog allegedly led police to firearms and methamphetamine in his possession.
Police were conducting a police dog search at the Adelaide Railway Station on Thursday evening when a positive indication from police dog Pluto led officers to search a man and his belongings.
The 42-year-old man was allegedly caught carrying 4.5 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Police searched his Brahma Lodge home the following day and allegedly located cannabis, more drug paraphernalia and two gel blaster hand guns.
A 45-year-old woman at the address was also reported for possession of a firearm (gel blaster) without a licence and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
The 42-year-old was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug, possession of a firearm (gel blaster) without a licence and breach of bail.
He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday October 17.
