A man has been arrested after dozens of police officers swarmed on a home in Adelaide’s north where they seized weapons and explosives.
Police attended a home in Paralowie on Tuesday morning and after searching the house found weapons, including firearms and swords.
SA Police said they allegedly discovered explosives components, which prompted more resources to attend the scene, including the Bomb Response Unit, CIB Detectives, Dog Operations and Crime Scene Investigators.
A search of the home also allegedly uncovered crossbows.
A 30-year-old Paralowie man was arrested at the home and charged with possessing a firearm without a licence and possessing a prohibited weapon.
He was granted bail and is due to front the Elizabeth Magistrates Court in August.
Police said investigations are continuing.
Neighbours told 7NEWS they were shocked at the amount of police at the address and at how long they spent searching the home.
