A 30-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man have been arrested after drugs and thousands of dollars in cash were found in their Murray Bridge hotel room.
Following an investigation, police scoured a room at the hotel on Tuesday night, and with the help of police dog Winter, they allegedly found methamphetamine, other drug paraphernalia and about $4800 in cash.
The room’s two occupants, a Murray Bridge woman and a local man, have been charged with drug trafficking and unlawful possession.
Police said both have been bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on July 29.
