Man, 30, arrested for murder of Chris Robertson, found dead in a Lonsdale warehouse
A 30-year-old man has been arrested for the alleged murder of a man whose body was found in a warehouse in Lonsdale in September.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested for the alleged murder of Chris Robertson, whose body was found in a warehouse in Lonsdale in September.
Mr Robertson was last seen alive celebrating the AFL grand final on Saturday, September 27, before his body was discovered on September 30 at a Lonsdale premises.
Police say a forensic examination revealed he died as a result of injuries from severe assault.
On Thursday morning, Major Crime officers arrested the Happy Valley man for the murder of Mr Robertson, 49.
The man was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court.
SA Police Acting Superintendent Andrew Macrae said police had not ruled out the possibility of other people being involved in the alleged murder.
“The investigation is ongoing as detectives investigate all of the circumstances of Chris’ death, including the actions of people following his death,” Mr Macrae said.
“We thank the public for the assistance they have provided to date and encourage those people to recontact us if they have any more information.”
“We also urge anyone who hasn’t come forward and knows what happened to Chris, or has any information to suggest others assisted those responsible, to contact police.”
