A large fire has caused road closures in central Murray Bridge as firefighters battle a blaze at a scrap metal yard.
The alarm was raised just before 6am on Monday morning with reports of a large fire at a scrap metal yard on Thomas St.
Police advise that Thomas St is currently closed between Cyprus Tce and Netley Rd.
They ask residents to avoid the area.
