Man remanded in custody after allegedly stabbing man in Coober Pedy

Police have launched a fresh appeal for information over an alleged murder at Coober Pedy in the state’s Far North.
Last Tuesday, officers arrived at the scene of reports a man had been stabbed to find a 46-year-old collapsed on a footpath.
The Indulkana man was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.
A Coober Pedy man, 47, was found nearby and arrested. He was charged with murder and appeared in the Coober Pedy Magistrates Court last Wednesday where he did not apply for bail.
He will next appear in the Coober Pedy Magistrates Court in December.
Police are now seeking information from anyone in the vicinity of Hutchison St and Wright Rd who may have witnessed the incident, or who has any CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist police with the investigation.
