Four people have been busted after a search of hotel rooms in the CBD revealed significant amounts of drugs, cash and weapons.

Four people have been busted after a search of hotel rooms in the CBD revealed significant amounts of drugs, cash and weapons.
At about 9.15pm on Wednesday, Eastern District police patrols were called to a hotel on South Tce after reports of a disturbance in one of the rooms.
After searching two rooms, police say they located a trafficable amounts of methamphetamine, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia, a large quantity of cash, ammunition, a taser and a flick knife.
A stolen Holden Commodore which had recently been involved in two petrol thefts was then found at the rear of the hotel, they say.
The vehicle was searched, with police allegedly finding a knife in the driver’s side doors and unassigned number plates.
A 31-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with hindering police, possessing ammunition, trafficking in a controlled drug, possessing a prohibited weapon, possessing prescription and controlled drugs, illegal use of a motor vehicle and two counts of petrol theft.
He has been refused bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later Wednesday.
A 22-year-old Tranmere man was also arrested and charged with hindering police, possessing prescribed medication, and drug trafficking and will also appear in court later on Wednesday.
A 25-year-old Alberton woman was charged with drug trafficking and was released on bail to appear in court in June, with a 24-year-old Largs North man issued a caution for hindering police.
