Five people will face court on Monday after four separate alleged Covid-19 breaches over the weekend, including one only detected when police were called to a crash near the CBD.

About 11am on Friday, a man allegedly failed to comply with emergency management directions after he arrived on a flight from Melbourne.

He also gave false information to airport staff, before police were alerted to the breach and he was arrested at a CBD hotel.

The man, a 49-year-old from the Northern Territory, has been charged with failing to comply with emergency management directions.

The next incident happened about 5.15pm Saturday, after police were called to a minor crash involving a truck at Pasadena, south of the city.

Checks revealed the truck driver and passenger had allegedly crossed the Victorian border without completing a Cross Border Travel Application.

The pair - a 26-year-old man and 27-year-old woman from Victoria - was arrested and charged with failing to comply with emergency management directions.

A short time later, just before 6.15pm on Saturday, a man allegedly arrived in Adelaide on a flight from Queensland but failed to comply with directions at the airport.

The 35-year-old Queensland man was charged with failing to comply with emergency management directions, hindering police and disorderly behaviour.

All four people have been refused police bail and are due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.

The final reported breach took place just before 2.30pm on Sunday, when a man drove through the checkpoint on the Wentworth to Renmark Road in the Riverland.

The driver was pursued but the chase was eventually stopped, with the car last seen heading towards Renmark.

A short time later, officers saw the car turn into a house on Government Road at Renmark, where the driver entered a shed.

He unsuccessfully attempted to steal a car, before allegedly entering a neighbouring house, assaulting the residents and taking a set of car keys.

The man then ran from the home and smashed the window of a car in the driveway, before going to the garage and trying to take a motorcycle.

He was found nearby a short time later and arrested by police.

The man, a 30-year-old of no fixed address, has been charged with failing to comply with directions, being unlawfully on premises, two counts of failing to stop, two counts of driving dangerously to escape police, two counts of illegal interference, two counts of aggravated serious criminal trespass, two counts of assault, property damage and giving a false name.

The alleged breaches come days after two serious incidents in the Adelaide CBD, which left authorities on high alert.

The first close call came when a man visited the Hindley St police station on Thursday afternoon, claiming to have returned from New South Wales.

The second breach occurred that night, when another man snuck past medi-hotel security.

About 10pm, the international traveller walked out of the Grand Chancellor Hotel on Hindley St, and spent about eight hours freely roaming in the community before returning to the hotel about 6am on Friday.
