A disability carer accused of assaulting a young intellectually disabled man in her care has faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court.

A disability worker accused of assaulting a mentally disabled boy in her care has faced court.
Patricia Rosanna Tirimacco, 54, appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court charged with aggravated assault.
During the brief hearing Jason Evitts, for Tirimacco, told the court he had recently received more information from the prosecution and required an adjournment.
Magistrate Koula Kossiavelos adjourned the matter to July.
Tirimacco bolted from court to a waiting car which sped off before the door was properly closed.
She is accused of assaulting a young man in her care at Athelston on December 7 last year.
She was suspended in her role as a carer pending the investigation and was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
The young man was not seriously injured.
If she pleads or is found guilty of aggravated assault, Tirimacco faces a maximum penalty of three years in prison.
