Detectives, STAR group arrest 10 teenagers over violent gang brawl
Police have arrested 11 more people over a gruesome CBD brawl believed to be linked to escalating violence between Sudanese youths.

Eleven more people, including 10 teenagers, have been arrested over a machete fight in the CBD earlier this month believed to be linked to escalating gang violence between Sudanese youths.
Members of Operation Meld and Operation Mandrake, STAR Group officers and members from the District Crime Investigation Branch and State Operations Support Group on Friday attended and searched 12 addresses in the northern, western and eastern suburbs in relation to a violent brawl.
At around 1am on March 13, police were called to the Producers or Nairobi bar (the Old Exchange) on Grenfell St just to find several people had been stabbed or assaulted with weapons including a machete.
Several people sustained stab wounds, with two men requiring surgery for life-threatening injuries.
A 17-year-old from Salisbury Downs, a 16-year-old and 18-year-old from Blakeview, an 18-year-old man from Elizabeth Downs, 18-year-old man from Andrews Farm, 18-year-old man from Burton, a 16-year-old from Andrews Farm, 16-year-old from Munno Para West, a 19-year-old man from Craigmore and a 21-year-old man from Modbury were arrested and granted bail.
A 16-year-old from Craigmore was also arrested and charged with aggravated affray and breach of bail.
He was refused bail and appeared in court on Friday.
All teenagers bailed will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on May 6, while all adults bailed will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on May 9.
Seven people had been previously arrested, with today’s arrests taking the total to 18.
