Croydon man, 35, charged with drug trafficking after detectives allegedly found $90,000 worth of meth at his home

A western suburbs man has been charged with trafficking in a commercial quantity of methamphetamine after a large bust by police.

A Croydon man has been charged with drug trafficking after he was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine with a street value of about $90,000.

Serious and Organised Crime detectives searched the 35-year-old man’s address on Friday and seized 870 grams of methamphetamine.

The man has been charged with trafficking in a commercial quantity of methamphetamine. He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.

Detective Superintendent Billy Thompson said methamphetamine causes “terrible harm to users and the wider community”.

“This seizure is a significant amount,” he said.

“Those who traffic illicit drugs in these amounts do so purely for their own greed, they have no care for others”.
