Craigmore man arrested over wild McLaren Vale hooning posted to TikTok
A man who posted footage of his latest wild drive through a metropolitan area has led police straight to his door, costing him his licence for a year.

An alleged hoon driver who posted footage of himself driving at dangerously high speeds through McLaren Vale on social media has been stripped of his licence and had his car impounded.
SA Police allege a 29-year-old man drove a grey Ford Falcon at “extremely high speeds” on Main South Rd at McLaren Vale.
It is alleged he reached speeds of 177km/h in the 60km/h zone about 6pm on Saturday, July 6, and posted footage on TikTok.

Traffic Services Branch officers arrested the man at a Craigmore house on Wednesday.
He was arrested and charged with a number of offences including driving at an extreme speed and driving unlicensed.
Police said the man was also facing extreme speed charges over two separate incidents at Hillbank on August 14 last year, and July 6 this year, at Main South Rd and Wheatsheaf Rd at Morphett Vale.
“The vehicle involved was impounded for 28 days and the driver was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice,” police said.
The man was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on September 12.
Police urged anyone who witnesses dangerous driving “of any kind, either in person or online” to report it to the Police Assistance Link on 131 444.
“Make sure to record details like registration numbers, make and model of the vehicle, paint colour and unique parts like spoilers and mag wheels,” police said.
