A man previously accused of sexually assaulting a pre-teen girl had all charges withdrawn against him in court.

Dylan Alfred Knudson, 25, had two counts of indecent assault and one count of sexual intercourse with a person under 14 withdrawn after prosecution declined to prosecute.

Prosecution previously alleged Mr Knudson was present with multiple children at a Loxton address in 2022.

The court previously heard the allegations made by the previous complainant was that she was laying down in a bed when Mr Knudson came into the room and allegedly indecently assaulted her.

The court heard Mr Knudson was accused of asking the child if she’d ever had sex before, to which she replied, “bro, I’m like 12, of course I haven’t had sex before”.

Mr Knudson allegedly replied “oh that sucks,” before the girl left the room and told someone about the alleged interaction.

Police attended and Mr Knudson was arrested.

The court previously heard Mr Knudson, of Hay in NSW, had a mental deficit and denied the charges.
