Child allegedly assaulted at eastern suburbs Hungry Jack’s

Police are investigating the alleged broad daylight indecent assault of a child at an eastern suburbs fast food restaurant on Friday.

Police are hunting a suspect after he allegedly indecently assaulted a child in broad daylight at an eastern suburbs Hungry Jack’s.

Officers were called to the Firle Hungry Jack’s about 3.40pm Friday after reports a man had allegedly assaulted a child before fleeing the scene.

Police said the man fled the Glynburn Rd restaurant after he was confronted by the child’s parent.

The child was not physically injured in the alleged assault.

The suspect is described as being of caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, having a medium build and black wavy hair past his ears and a light coloured short beard.
