A woman has been arrested after a 66-year-old motorbike rider was left in a serious condition in a crash on the Horrocks Highway at Gawler Belt on Wednesday afternoon.

A woman has been arrested following a serious crash at Gawler Belt on Wednesday which left a motorbike rider in a serious condition.
The 66-year-old motorbike rider from Evanston Park was rushed to hospital after the crash at the intersection of Horrocks and Thiele Highways, Gawler Belt, just before 2.30pm when a Holden station wagon and Husqvarna motorbike collided.
On Wednesday night, Major Crash investigators arrested and charged the driver – a 55-year-old woman from Morgan – with dangerous driving causing serious harm and driving under suspension.
She was issued with an instant loss of license and bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on July 11.
The driver was also taken to hospital for minor injuries and mandatory blood analysis.
