A person has been arrested after a suspected serious stabbing in Adelaide’s North.

Emergency services were called to a Salisbury Downs address just before 7pm on Wednesday.

There was a heavy police presence on Londonderry Ave late on Wednesday with most of the street cordoned off.

Major Crime detectives and forensics officers were searching the area.

Police managed to find the suspect.

He was arrested and charged with murder.

SA Police confirmed they were responding to an incident but would not provide specific details.

Police said no one had been taken to hospital.

It comes just days after the horrific stabbing of an innocent father-of-five as a messy love triangle turned to bloodshed at a house in Elizabeth Downs.

Emmanuel Musengimana, 35, was found by emergency services with life-threatening injuries to his chest and arm when called to Justinian Street on Sunday night.

A 21-year-old woman who was interviewed at the address claims she was the intended victim of a revenge attack over a love triangle gone wrong.

When she refused to come outside, she says the irate group turned on Mr Musengimana who was having a cigarette. He was taken by ambulance to Royal Adelaide Hospital for surgery and is on a ventilator.
