Video captures ‘appalling’ road rage incident as a van and car refuse to merge
Two drivers have lost their licences – including a 56-year-old local woman – after an “appalling” road rage incident in Unley was caught on video.

Two drivers have lost their licences after a road rage incident just outside the CBD last Tuesday.
Following an investigation, police allege that the dangerous driving incident took place at about 3.45pm on Greenhill Rd in Adelaide before continuing on to King William Rd in Unley.
The incident involved a 56-year-old Unley woman, driving a red Mazda, and a 23-year-old Hawthorn man, driving a white Mitsubishi van.
Police allege that the two committed various traffic offences that were dangerous to motorists, pedestrians, cyclists and themselves.
Both drivers have been charged for driving in a dangerous manner, with the Hawthorn man accruing more charges.

The 23-year-old has also been reported for travelling in a motor vehicle with a part of his body outside of the vehicle and driving on a nature strip.
Officer in charge of road policing section, inspector Damien Eichner, referred to the incident as “appalling”.
“This incident has shown two drivers who made appalling decisions, which had the potential to cause serious injury to either themselves or other road users,” he said.
“Driver’s need to drive with respect and that means making sound decision to de-escalate a situation by pulling over and reporting the incident to police.”
The drivers have both had their cars impounded for 28 days and been issued a 12 month licence disqualification.
The pair will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
Police urge anyone who witnesses dangerous driving to report it to police on 131 444 and to provide any footage they may have.
