An Andrews Farm man who was arrested this week for allegedly stalking a woman he met on a dating site has been arrested again, after a second victim came forward with allegations.

How to stay safe on a date

A second victim has come forward claiming northern suburbs man Sean Flintoff stalked her after they met online.

The Andrews Farm man, 35, was arrested for the second time this week in the early hours of Friday morning, and charged with stalking offences and breaching his bail after another victim came forward.

That woman said she feared for her safety after she was allegedly stalked by Flintoff, who she met on social media in January.

He appeared briefly in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court om Friday facing the new charges, and was remanded in custody to reappear on Monday.

Police went to Flintoff’s home on Tuesday, and arrested him and charged him with stalking offences and property damage, following allegations he stalked a woman after meeting her on an online dating app.

He faced Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, where he was released on supervised bail.

Police allegedly located various forms of evidence, including mail in different women’s names in Flintoff’s home on Tuesday.

The court heard on Wednesday he must not contact or communicate either directly or indirectly with the first victim, or come within 100m of her.

He will next appear in court on August 17 on charges relating to the first offence.

Police are appealing to other potential victims, encouraging them to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The State Government introduced a new initiative in November, where users of dating app Tinder were urged to recognise sexual assault and predatory behaviour for “what it is”.

The $50,0000 campaign also ran on other social media platforms, and radio at the end of last year.
