Police are on the hunt for a man who struck another man with a brick causing serious injuries.

An Adelaide man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was struck with a brick by a person known to him.
Just after 10.30am, emergency services were called to Sturt Street after the incident was reported to police.
When patrols arrived they found a 54-year-old man with serious injuries.
Police searched a nearby address for the suspect, however he has not yet been found.
The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
