Police have withdrawn rape allegations against a man who was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a CBD address.
In the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday, prosecutors dropped a rape charge against Allan Stanley Booth, 35.
Previously, they had alleged Mr Booth had met a woman in the city in March and gone with her to a King William St hotel.
They further alleged that, the following morning, Mr Booth sexually assaulted the woman, and that she pushed him away and left.
Police did not give any reason, on Wednesday, for their decision to drop the charge.
