Police are looking for the driver of a dark grey Ford Ranger after a man was hit by a car on North East Road, Klemzig, after an altercation on Sunday morning.

The driver of the Ford allegedly threw an object at a white Kia sedan about 9am on Sunday after the minor altercation between drivers of the two vehicles heading northeast, just past Ascot Ave.

Both cars stopped and the victim, who was a passenger in the Kia, approached the stationary Ford Ranger.

Police said the Ford then collided with the victim, who hit the bull bar and went up and over the vehicle before it drove off, heading northwest along Kirby Ave.

The driver is described as being of caucasian appearance, tall, with a slim build, short dark hair and a short beard, and was wearing a white top.

The victim, a 23-year-old man, reported the incident to Holden Hill Police Station and sought treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at the Modbury Hospital.

Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or has dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist the investigation.

The driver of a white vehicle directly behind the Kia may have witnessed the collision.

In a separate hit-and-run incident at Kensington, a white station wagon collided with a red Hyundai which had just been parked.

Grant Clifford told 7News his mother, who was in Hyundai, had just parked when it was hit. The driver of the station wagon then abandoned it at the end of High Street.

“He opened the door, threw up, and then after everybody went down there and tried to get the details, he took off,” Mr Clifford said.

No-one was injured in the Kensington incident.
