THE Adelaide Hills has come to Norwood with the opening of Silvia Hart’s third Seasonal Garden Cafe.
THE Adelaide Hills has come to Norwood with the opening of Silvia Hart’s fourth Seasonal Garden Cafe.
Just a few doors down from Argo on the Parade, Seasonal Garden Norwood opened its doors this week with much of the Hills’ favourites, including the quinoa and falafel burger and pancakes, as well as a new range of gourmet sandwiches and bruschettas.
“All of the Seasonal menus have a common thread, and all the suppliers are the same and recipes are the same,” says Silvia. That common thread is fresh, seasonal produce, sourced from the likes of Adelaide Hills Pastured Eggs and Rustico (bread), while some vegies and edible flowers will come from her Hahndorf vegie patch. Former Sydney chef Zena Mansourwill take the reins in the kitchen before overseeing all the kitchens, including at the two cafes in Hahndorf, and Seasonal Garden Stirling.
Silvia’s daughter, Magdalena Hart, is behind Seasonal’s array of desserts including decadent cakes and raw slices.
“This never would have been possible without the incredible people surrounding me,” Silvia says. It’s open for breakfast and lunch every day, 7am-5.30pm.
