Gather Food and Wine chef Tom Tilbury joins Coriole winery, to launch ‘Gather at Coriole’ restaurant

CORIOLE Vineyards is teaming up with chefTom Tilbury of the former Gather Food and Wine, to launch new restaurant – Gather at Coriole.

It comes after chef Tom Reid left the existing Coriole restaurant, which rated two forks in The Advertiser Food Guide 2018.

The similarly much-loved Gather Food and Wine closed its doors in Robe in January.

It’s a bit of a homecoming for Tilbury, right, who has a longstanding relationship with Coriole. “Gather and Coriole have a similar ethos and attitude toward food and wine,” the chef says. “The food style will be fresh, generous, tasty, fun and it’ll have a real sense of place.

“The menu is aimed toward diners experiencing a relaxed, shared, progressive lunch. There are a-la-carte options, or our guests can leave it my hands and do the chef’s selection.”
