DESSERT mecca 50SIXONE, famous for its over-the-top freakshakes, is opening a second cafe later this year.

It will be double the size of the King William Rd site, housed in the yet-to-be-built Palace Nova cinema on Prospect Rd, Prospect.

OwnerSimon Floccosays the new cafe will seat about 100, and the concept will be “exactly the same”.

“We’ve outgrown this,” he says.

Inspired by New York’s Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, Simon focuses on the “theatre of food”.

He offers an “all-day breakfast” menu, so diners can opt to be naughty or nice at any time between 7am and 4pm.

“You can get a healthy breakfast and a milkshake, or you can even get ice cream or red-velvet pancakes,” says Simon.
