Zomato release White Label Apps to help restaurant’s further digital identity

And now it looks like they have come to the table with the development of new plug-and-play platform app that will deliver a new level of customer service.

Zomato’s Country Manager of Australia Kate Parker said the app was the result of consultations with restaurants about how they would better like to communicate with their customers.

“Many have told us they would like to engage directly with customers on their own branded digital platform, but there was no single service provider that can give them the suite of technologies they need that can be easily integrated with the operations of their business,” she said.

With that information the company was able to develop Zomato White Label Apps — a platform for restaurants to further their digital identity.

“We see this as an opportunity to have a larger impact on the food-tech ecosystem,” she said.

The subscription-based app will offer real-time information and menu management, online ordering, table reservations and in-app cashless payments.

Additionally, the app will allow customers to receive special offers and events.

Most impressively, an Uber integration service for customers to book the service directly from the restaurants own app will also be included.

Zomato Co-founder Pankaj Chaddah said this was a step in the right direction for an ever-evolving company.

“We are excited about the pace of innovation at Zomato. The bigger picture is increasingly becoming clearer to us and we are hoping that in a few months, we will be able to solve a large part of the pain points that users as well as business face in the industry.”
