The man stands on top of the shelves and appears to be moving erratically as he walks up the aisle.

He grabs a long piece of black material as he shuffles along the shelving.

“Wilsooooon,” the man can be heard screaming repeatedly.

It is not known if he was yelling the name of a friend or family member.

A Woolworths staff member then tells the woman filming that she cannot film inside the store.

The woman runs to another vantage point and continues to film the man.

From there, the video captures two police officers standing near the man trying to coax him down.

A Queensland Police spokesman said due to the mental health aspects of the incident it would be “inappropriate” for them to comment.

The man swings around a pillar connected to the ceiling and tries to speak with police.

However, he seems confused and disoriented.

NCA Newswire was unable to reach Woolworths for comment.
