Student’s Christmas present rules over Xbox game go viral

STUDENTS’s Christmas gift to her boyfriend came with some rules which required him to pay attention to her, so he decided to share it with the internet.

A FED-UP girlfriend decided to make a set of rules for her video game-obsessed boyfriend, in order to get more attention off him.

Ashley Davison decided to take matters into her own hands after buying boyfriend Blake Perry a new copy of Call of Duty for his XBox, The Sunreported.

The thorough girlfriend drew up a detailed contract including rules about pausing the game to talk to her will full attention and taking no long than 11 minutes to reply to texts.

Five rules were included in the gift requirement, and the University of Oklahoma student even included a space on the contract for Blake to sign in agreement.

Although he complied, Blake later added a photo of the contract to Twitter saying “Little does she know these rules will be broken” – and his tweet has been liked over 30,000 times.

The contract said: “I Blake Perry will follow these rules and in return will be enjoying my new game and loving my girlfriend at the same time.”

Although it may have started like a bit of fun, Ashley’s demands have struck a chord with online users.

Many people shared a gif of the girl dubbed the “crazy girlfriend” in their replies.

One wrote: “Nah bro... I’ve been through this before, she wants you to think it’s a joke but in reality if you don’t follow those rules she will go postal on you. Just beware.”

Another joked: “Her waiting at 10 minutes and 57 seconds for that text back.”

However, one Twitter user pointed out: “Joke is on her, you can’t pause Call of Duty.”

Previously a girl completely lost it when her boyfriend said he’d rather play video games than spend a night with her.

THE CONTRACT IN FULL

• If I call you must pause game and talk to me with full attention.

• No starting another match if we are planning to hangout or I ask to hangout.

• You must ask if it is okay for you to play if I am over at your house. Make sure I have something to do while you are in battle.

• You must reply to a text in no longer than 11 minutes.

• Do not forget to give me as much attention.

• I Blake Perry will follow these rules and in return will be enjoying my new game and loving my girlfriend at the same time. But if I do not follow these rules my girlfriend, Ashley Davison, can take this game away from me at any time for the rest of my life.
