Fortnite players flood onto Pornhub in search of XXX game clips as game goes offline

THIS graph shows a huge spike in traffic on Pornhub following an incident last week, although you might be surprised at what people were searching for.

PERVY Fortnite players took to Pornhub to vent their frustration about last week’s downtime.

On Thursday, April 11, the hit video game went down for “emergency maintenance” for nearly 17 hours — and it seems Fortnite players went questing for smut in the meantime.

As part of Pornhub’s stat-tastic Insights program, new figures have been released around the Fortnite outage period, reports The Sun.

The hugely popular porn site reported a 60% spike in searches for ‘Fortnite’ during the downtime.

“Pornhub’s statisticians found that searches for ‘Fortnite’ increased by as much as 60% during the 24 hour period, as hardcore players headed to Pornhub for their Fortnite fix,” the smut site explained.

“Shortly after access to the server resumed, searches for ‘Fortnite’ returned to normal levels.”

Pornhub was also able to track data of “gaming fans” specifically, thanks to Google’s data tech.

And unsurprisingly, traffic from gamers rose during the Fortnite downtime.

“We found that traffic from ‘gaming fans’ increased shortly after the server outage began, and remained higher than normal over the entire 24 hour period,” wrote Pornhub.

“Gamer traffic was 9.8 per cent above average just three hours before server access resumed, after which traffic dropped below normal levels.”

After a smattering of issues, the game finally went down for everyone at just after 12pm AEST in the morning on Thursday, and didn’t come back online until after 5am the following day.

There was no ETA for the game coming back online for most of the day, leaving players bored and confused.

So it’s no surprise some unfulfilled gamers turned to Pornhub for some Fortnite action.

• The area you can play in on the island is constantly shrinking thanks to an encroaching storm

• This means players are forced together over time, until just one person survives

• The game has been a huge hit, and is currently being trialled on iPhone
