CROWS wingman Paul Seedsman has resisted the lure of returning to Victoria to sign a three-year contract extension with Adelaide.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed his best season at the Crows since crossing over from Collingwood at the end of 2015 and has played 87 career games.
His manager started talks with the Crows early in the season and although there was reportedly interest from rivals including St Kilda to get him back to Melbourne, he has opted to remain with Adelaide.
“My priority was always to stay in Adelaide and it’s great to get the deal done,” Seedsman said in a club statement.
“I love it here and the footy club has been fantastic since I arrived, so it’s good to be able to repay their confidence in me.
“Even though it’s been a frustrating year, the culture here couldn’t be better.
“The players and coaches are all committed to getting better and we’ll be back up there next year.”
Seedsman has played a career-high 18 games this season and has averaged 20.6 disposals in a hard-running role on the wing and pushing forward.
