This year’s Tour Down Under will see multiple road closures and parking restrictions at specific times and locations over the course of the event – which runs from Friday 12 January to Sunday 21 January.

Event organisers have listed hard and soft road closures.

Hard road closures mean roads will be closed to all traffic, while soft road closures mean there will be access for local residents and businesses, but not open to other traffic.

Rolling road closures will also take place when the group travels through specific areas – meaning roads will only be closed as the group rides through.

The Advertiser has compiled a comprehensive list of the stages, road closures and parking restrictions.

Women’s Stage 1: Hahndorf to Campbelltown (Friday 12 January)

Start: 11.10am — Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf

Finish: 1.52pm — Maryvale Road, Campbelltown

Distance: 93.9 km

Women’s Stage 1 kicks off at the Adelaide Hills town of Hahndorf and will see competitors ride from Mount Barker Rd, to Maryvale Rd at Campbelltown in Adelaide’s northeast.

Riders will leave Hahndorf and travel through Mylor, Balhannah, Oakbank, Woodside, Lobethal, Gumeracha and Cudlee Creek, and then down Gorge Road and finish in Campbelltown.

There will be rolling road closures and parking restrictions in place as the race travels through the Adelaide Hills.
