Novak Djokovic continues to attract the headlines at Melbourne Park, and he let his tennis do the talking on Tuesday night with a four-set masterclass to beat Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-final.

The Serbian used a medical time-out to his advantage and appeared emotional when he spotted his kids in the stands during his post-match interview.

Djokovic said he wished it was the final. He’ll face Alexander Zverev in the semis tomorrow night.

Alex de Minaur faces a tough task in his quarterfinal tonight against Jannik Sinner.

The women’s quarterfinals kick off the action today, with Iga Swiatek favoured to cruise through to the last four.

There are also two all-Aussie pairings playing in the mixed doubles semi-finals this afternoon. Olivia Gadecki and John Peers are taking on the second seeds and John-Patrick Smith and Kimberley Birrell are in the other semi.
