THE Dragons have been dealt a blow on the morning of their historic match with the Broncos with Jillaroos gun Talesha Quinn ruled out.
Quinn was touch-and-go to make the match all week despite passing a rigorous fitness test with the army last week.
Quinn, a serving member of the army, had to pass this test just to have a shot at playing in today’s match at Suncorp stadium.
Coach Daniel Lacey gave his Australian star the longest possible time to prove she was fully recovered foe the game.
“Asipau Mafi will now come off the bench and Holli Wheeler will take Talesha’s spot in the back row,” Lacey told The Daily Telegraph Sunday morning.

During the week Quinn said she was doing everything possible to make the historic game to be played before the men’s NRL finals match and rated herself a chance.
Quinn did her first opposed session with the Dragons just a week ago after undergoing knee surgery two months ago.
Quinn and Jillaroos teammates Sam Bremner and Kezie Apps are the backbone of the Dragons.
All three have been recovering from injuries in the lead-up to the first round of the women’s competition.
However Bremner, who will captain the side today, and Apps were cleared to play last month.
