Herald Sun form analyst Brad Waters runs the rule over Wednesday’s meeting at Sandown.
BEST BET
STAY IN TOUCH (Race 5 No.5 – $3.90)
Talented mare that posted her fourth win in five starts at Bendigo last time. In flying form and can complete a winning hat trick on Wednesday.
NEXT BEST
OJOSAN (Race 3 No.5 – $7.50)
Touch unlucky and should have finished closer at Sale second-up. Will be fitter for those two runs and will be around the mark again at Sandown.
MISS BALVENIE (Race 4 No.6 – $5.50)
Impressed when charging home to score first-up and will be fitter for that. Likes the soft ground and can measure up to her maiden city test.
REUBER (Race 7 No.5 – $5.50)
Overran the leaders late to score first-up and his second-up record is good. He’s consistent and rates a chance of back-to-back wins.
VALUE BET
HEREFORAGOODTIME (Race 6 No.5 – $10)
Never got a crack at them when three lengths from the winner at Pakenham at her first run for seven weeks. She’ll be fitter and can improve significantly with better luck.
THE JOCKEY
JAMIE KAH
Jamie Kah has some terrific chances among her strong book of six rides at Sandown. YALTARA (Race 1 No.12 – $3.60), SOUND OF CANNONS (Race 2 No.8 – $4.40), MISS MIDDLE PARK (Race 3 No.8 – $6.50), ENIGMA (Race 5 No.12 – $6.50), MISS KEELER (Race 6 No.12 – $16), VISINARI (Race 8 No.10 – $1.80).
