Herald Sun form analyst Brad Waters runs the rule over Wednesday’s meeting at Sale
BEST BET
BROWNIE (Race 7 No.4 – $2.15)
The speedy mare improved with racing last time in and has had more time to develop. She’ll be in her first-up assignment for a long way.
NEXT BEST
CISALPINE (Race 2 No.1 – $3.10)
Chased well when not far away in a promising debut at Kilmore. Won’t have to improve much to break through on the bigger Sale track.
TATSURO (Race 3 No.10 – $5)
Ran on well when just missing at Sale second-up and will only be improved for that outing. Should go close again.
VALUE BET
OCEANS OF STAMINA (Race 6 No.1 – $10)
Battled in two local runs last time in but has had more time to acclimatise. His jumpouts have been sound and he can improve this campaign.
THE JOCKEY
LUKE NOLEN
Jockey Luke Nolen has two strong stables providing him with five rides at Sale on Wednesday. WINNING REVOLUTION (Race 1 No.7 – $2.25), INSULATION (Race 3 No.6 – $4), OCEANS OF STAMINA (Race 6 No.1 – $10), NEVER SAY NAY (Race 7 No.2 – $6), AUTISSIODORUM (Race 8 No.5 – $10).
