JUST how important is Israel Folau to the Waratahs’ Super Rugby title aspirations?

16 tries in 18 games suggest Michael Cheika’s side won’t make the playoffs – let alone push for a maiden title – should the star fullback be sidelined again.

Luckily for the Waratahs it seems as though Folau will be right to face the Stormers in Cape Town this weekend, with the Wallabies custodian reportedly recovering well following a knock to the throat in the round six clash with the Rebels.

Folau, who boasts a try-scoring strike-rate of 88.9 in Super Rugby has already crossed for eight tries in 2014, and is on track to break the all-time tournament record of 15 held by Joe Roff and Rico Gear.
