THE Reds’ upset win over the Lions has been rewarded with three players selected in Fox Sports Lab’s Super Rugby team of the week for round 11.
Loosehead prop: JP Smith (Reds)
In his first start in 2018, Smith was a key part of a dominant Reds scrum which forced three scrum penalties against the Lions.
Smith had six carries for 34 metres, scored his first Super Rugby try and was perfect in defence making all 11 of his tackles.
Hooker: Agustin Creevy (Jaguares)
Creevy continues his outstanding season as he helped lead the Jaguares to three consecutive wins on the road for the first time in their history while also handing the Blues their longest ever winless streak at Eden Park (five games).
Creevy made one pilfer, a perfect eight from eight tackles, carried the ball 12 times for 48 metres, scored a try, and won 10 of his 11 lineout throws (91%).

Tighthead prop: Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro (Jaguares)
Tetaz Chaparro helped force three scrum penalties, made 10 tackles, and carried the ball nine times for 26 metres.
Lock: Guido Petti (Jaguares)
Petti has started the last three matches, stringing together three dominant performances.
Petti won eight lineouts including one lineout steal, made eight tackles and carried the ball 12 times for 43 metres and four tackle busts.
Lock: Grant Hattingh (Sunwolves)
Hattingh won eight lineouts including one lineout steal, had a competition high 18 carries for 76 metres, made one line break and seven tackles.
Blindside flanker: Siya Kolisi (Stormers)
Kolisi made 16 tackles, had one pilfer, one ruck and maul forced penalty, carried the ball three times for 10 metres and contributed a linebreak assist.
Openside flanker: Dillon Hunt (Highlanders)
Hunt made 17 tackles, had one pilfer, two ruck and maul forced penalties, and was strong with ball in hand with three carries for 24 metres including a linebreak and a linebreak assist.
No 8: Caleb Timu (Reds)
Before leaving the field with an ankle injury, Timu was the highlight of the Reds competing in every aspect of the game.
Timu — in his 30 minutes — scored a try, carried the ball six times for 76 metres with two tackle busts, and claimed two lineout wins including one lineout steal.
Scrumhalf: Dewaldt Duvenage (Stormers)
Duvenage had three carries for 38 metres, two tackle busts, one try assist, 10 kicks for 315 metres, and six tackles.
Fly half: Lima Sopoaga (Highlanders)
Slotted a penalty goal in the 82nd minute to give the Highlanders a one point victory over the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld.
Sopoaga scored 19 points (two conversions and five penalties), had five carries for 24 metres, one linebreak, two linebreak assists and 10 tackles.
Left wing: JJ Engelbrecht (Stormers)
Engelbrecht scored his first career double, ran the ball seven times for 45 metres, made one linebreak and eight tackles.
Inside centre: Vince Aso (Hurricanes)
Aso scored his sixth career double, had 10 carries for 101 metres, made three linebreaks, seven tackle busts, two try assists and made a perfect seven from seven tackles.
Outside centre: Jesse Kriel (Bulls)
Kriel scored a try — his third in four matches — had nine carries for 80 metres, two linebreaks, and three tackle busts.
Right wing: Filipo Daugunu (Reds)
Daugunu kicked important goals (two conversions and one penalty) to give his side a big enough lead to hold off a late surge by the Lions.
Daugunu was excellent in both attack and defence with seven carries for 104 metres, two linebreaks, two tackle busts, 10 tackles, and a ruck and maul forced penalty.
Fullback: Jordie Barrett (Hurricanes)
Barrett set the game alight with effortless skill and strong open running play.
Barrett scored seven points (one try and one conversion), had nine carries for 116 metres, two linebreaks, two tackle busts, five offloads and one linebreak assist.
