Video: Backflipping James O’Connor dons budgie smugglers to promote beach party in Toulon

SO the Reds want to sign James O’Connor? After his latest social media offering they may have a rethink - or maybe he’s having too much fun anyway.

Rugby Union star James O'Connor has shown in a Facebook video that his party boy ways might not yet be behind him. Should the Queensland Reds be worried?

JUST when you thought James O’Connor might be maturing the Queensland Reds target has backflipped his way back into the spotlight at French glamour club Toulon.

O’Connor, who is expected to sign with the Reds for next year’s Super Rugby season, recently arrived in Toulon to prepare for the upcoming Top 14 season where he will play alongside the likes of Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell and Mathieu Bastareaud until the end of December.

TAKE NO RISKS, PUT JOC ON BOOZE BAN

And it looks as though the former Melbourne Rebels and Western Force utility is already enjoying life in the south of France - if the above video is anything to go by anyway.

In an off-field display that may have Reds management rethinking their recruitment strategy, O’Connor dons a pair of budgie smugglers and performs a backflip to promote a party.

It’s not the first time O’Connor has been snapped enjoying a splash either. The 44-Test Wallaby was a member of the “Bungy Bros” gang who enjoyed an afternoon spa frolic in Melbourne in 2012.
