Rugby to ask government for financial aid

Already struggling financially while in the midst of trying to secure a new broadcast deal, rugby is facing a devastating financial hit following the suspension of Super Rugby for “the foreseeable future.”

Super Rugby season suspended

Super Rugby is the latest sporting competition to be affected by the coronavirus pandemic, with the season to be suspended ‘for the forseeable future.’
