He didn’t even make it to the main event but Rohan Browning’s 100m semi-final was the most-watched event at the Tokyo Olympics in Australia.

It just goes to show it doesn’t always take a medal to steal the spotlight, especially if you can perform in the most high-profile competition on the schedule.

Browning was just one of many green and gold stars — some who stood on podiums and others who fell short — who captured the hearts of the Australian public over the past fortnight.
