However, a Penrith spokesman told The Daily Telegraph the Panthers expect Kenny to be fit to take on the Sydney Roosters at the SCG on Saturday night.
Kenny has been a revelation since making his NRL debut for the Panthers in their round 11 win over Parramatta, and has shared the hooking duties with Lithgow’s Wayde Egan.
The 10th-placed Panthers are one point outside of the top eight, but face the in-form Roosters and Newcastle Knights in the final two rounds as the race for the finals reaches its conclusion.
The Panthers, who lost 24-10 to lowly North Queensland last weekend, can ill-afford any injuries as they fight to stop their season from slipping out of their grasp.
